The Maui county Republican party has a goal of providing the best candidate for office at the county and state levels. 

Choosing the lesser of two evils has been our choice for too many years. Both political parties are too much about staying in office and raising money, rather than about doing what is right for the country. We need Conservative leaders who will stay true to the founding fathers moral values, as well as the Constitution.

Here are some of the things we believe in and hope to find candidates that share our values and ideas. 

Advocating for pro-family legislation and a ban on gay marriage or civil unions.

Limiting welfare spending by creating economic opportunities for Hawaii's needy. The government should not be competing against the private sector.  The private sector should be doing the jobs and services that the government has adopted.  The government jobs in Hawaii has increased while the private sector jobs have been decreasing.  We should not be depending on the government for handouts.  That is bringing back to the days of slavery or Socialism. 

Less taxes, more freedoms, less permits, more liberties. 

We support legal immigration, and are against illegal immigration.  Get the illegal immigrants off our payrolls and deport them.  The legal immigrants have provided a great wealth to this nation.  What  a privilege to live in this great nation.
